Storm in Isolation

inkBoat Physical Theater and Dance presents a new work, Storm in Isolation. Changing, breathing, shouting, soothing, feeling the effects of isolation in a COVID world, Storm emerges from enclosure to embrace, to join and communicate. Desperation grows kindness. Directed, edited, and photographed by Shinichi Iova-Koga, performed by Shinichi and Dana Iova-Koga, with music by Suki O’Kane and Kamerin McDonald. Additional camera by Zoë Darling.

A recorded performance of Storm in Isolation created for BAMPFA will be followed by a live interview, during which the performers will take questions from viewers. At the end, Shinichi will lead you in a simple exercise you can join in from home.
