    Raphael Noz

    Raphael Noz holds an MS degree in education from Wheelock College and an MFA from California College of the Arts. His art spans painting, sculpture, performance, photography, and social interaction, and has been exhibited at venues including BAMPFA and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. He currently works as a teaching artist at the de Young Museum.

In the spirit of Ghost Demonstration, Carlos Amorales’s mural about protest for BAMPFA’s Art Wall, make and use stencils and paint to create cutouts of people holding up signs expressing something important that you want to shout out! Bring a smock or large old shirt to wear over your clothes. 

About Gallery + Studio
On the second Saturday of each month, Gallery + Studio connects art viewing with art making in ways that engage both young people and their grown-ups. Each two-part workshop integrates an interactive gallery tour with a related art project, and lasts about an hour and a half. Sign up on site beginning fifteen minutes before the session you wish to attend. Space is limited to twelve kids per session; please arrive promptly to sign up.
